I've been bad about "journaling" most things in my life, but yup, I know when I'll be expecting things in the garden!
:)Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10122524042294993949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7033294490607599727.post-61648003033756797222011-07-07T17:38:45.646-07:002011-07-07T17:38:45.646-07:00Thanks Granny! I like that it is flat black seems to make everything else pop, though I like the idea of the reflection.

Mark, I have so much to learn, about gardening, cooking and photography. It is extraordinary to me that such a simple thing makes such a profound difference. We all have something to teach each other which is one of the things that I like about the blogging process.David P. These are truly great pictures - and that black background is really effective.
For most of my photos I use a piece of light oak-coloured wood that was left over when we had our kitchen fitted a couple of years ago. I'm thinking now that maybe I should spray one side of it with black paint...
BTW, I'm very honoured to hear you say that I have inspred you, since it was of course YOU who got ME interested in blogging last year!Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7033294490607599727.post-67874950107737935642011-07-07T08:45:36.556-07:002011-07-07T08:45:36.556-07:00Very pretty! I like that it shows some reflections of the produce, but hate that I have to open the photos in Paint and remove the burner rings! The top of the washer works well for a white background, and I can sometimes get really pretty light reflection just by setting a basket on the floor in front of the sliding glass door. I think Villager uses boxes that have been painted black or white on their interiors. Daphne has dark granite counter tops that work well. It's fun to experiment. I should spend as much time on my housework as I do on my camera!Annie*s Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04772261218172078099noreply@blogger.com
