All these seem to lead to rapid tomato growth.

I hope the big ones arrive Sue! Some are nearly a pound each!

Nikki, Sounds about right these are very sweet, just cracking like mad. I attributed that to the rain patterns but maybe it is intrinsic to the fruit?David P. They were a nice uniform round a little bigger than golf balls with a really nice flavor, but MAN did they ever crack like mad. We had a couple volunteer this year and I can't help but think how great they would look without all that dark cracking.Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05250815507879755948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7033294490607599727.post-78114892195609944742011-08-10T00:49:09.677-07:002011-08-10T00:49:09.677-07:00That is a fine harvest. I suppose that is because of our "temperate" climate. Tomatoes need sun to ripen, and that has been in short supply here.Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7033294490607599727.post-86104158178402685992011-08-09T19:26:57.932-07:002011-08-09T19:26:57.932-07:00That's quite a haul! But we'll get a CSA box later this week and I'm sure it will be filled with great veggies, including locally grown tomatoes. Can't wait!Beth at PlantPostingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10473637655960119672noreply@blogger.com
